Google loves blogs - like this!
GCSE ICT Revision podcast: How blog technology makes the most of Google

Google loves blogs because they tick all it’s ‘relevance’ criteria boxes: fresh, regularly-updated, keyword rich content and lots of interaction and in-bound links.
That means that any school running a revision podcast on a blog like this not only gets to provide its students with a fun, vibrant interactive learning resource, the school gets a high placement in Google too.
What’s that good for? You tell us. You’re the people who know best how you could benefit from being found by students world-wide looking for easy-to-digest revision help.
We’re about to go out to all the specialist community colleges in Devon and Cornwall with this revision podcast package, so if you’re a staff member at one of them, why not give us a call on 01822 610841 and jump the gun?

This revision guide features a ‘phoned-in’ podcast (done at a teacher’s leisure). We did the following:
• ‘Word edited’ the audio (fixing gaps, stutters, mistakes)
• ‘Levelised’ it (to make it a uniform level throughout)
• Saved as mp3 and uploaded to our audio streaming host
• Posted the audio / text / image on the blog
Another way of recording this content would be for the teacher to take home a portable mp3 recorder and either email the mp3s or send the data card to us for production.
