How to sell your cartoons online

(Instead of having people use them without permission)

If you’re a cartoonist and you want to sell or license your cartoons for people to use in their blogs, then you could start by ANSWERING YOUR DAMN EMAILS when a blogger writes to ask you how much it will cost to use one of your cartoons.

    Hi!
Just went through your page and found the information helpful. Thanks for that. Could you do me one more favor by giving names of a few websites who buy cartoons from cartoonists and pay them genuinely. That will be very nice of you. Thank you once again.

i would like to know if you can give me some advice on where i can sell my cartoons by direct mail. do you have any adresses for me.

  7. Sam Deeks says:

Hi Jackson, no – sorry, I don’t have any advice for you.

But I would say that building a decent blog and creating some quality content that would pull in people looking for cartoons they can use might be a good idea. If you do that, make sure – rule #1 – that you respond whenever someone contacts you about buying or using one of your cartoons (unlike the person I was referring to in my original post ;-)
